Grief and Growing: A Healing Weekend for Bereaved Individuals and Families

Are you grieving someone significant to you who has died? Would you find comfort…

among other bereaved individuals and families

in a beautiful Bay Area setting

supported by a holistic professional staff of griefcare and camp specialists

in a weekend dedicated to grief and healing?

This unique weekend near Santa Rosa is designed to help individuals and families attend to their losses and identify tools to help them in their mourning. Being away from home in the natural beauty of a retreat center offers a path through grief in a comforting setting. Many participants find that taking the dedicated time to focus on their grief buoys them as they return to their daily schedule. This weekend is the only one of its kind in the Jewish community for individuals and families.

We welcome the diversity of the community including families of all kinds, all gender identities and sexual orientations, ages, class, race and cultural affinities.

Financial aid is available by calling the Bay Area Jewish Healing Center at: (415) 750.3436.

(Grief and Growing is also co-sponsored by JewishLearningWorks and Sinai Memorial Chapel)

Registration is now closed for the 2014 Grief and Growing Weekend
