Over 60 Spousal Loss
Grief Support Group


If you are 60 or over and have lost your spouse, we welcome you. With the support of others, you will have an opportunity to:

* Explore this difficult time and express your loss

* Receive the support of others who are also learning to tackle every day without their spouse

* Learn how to use the mourning process as an opportunity for growth?

* Relax in an understanding social environment where it is OK to simply be yourself

Group will begin in late February, 2008

Date and time to be announced – This group is offered free of charge, donations accepted.

Bereavement Support Group
An ongoing group for relatives and friends who have suffered the loss of a loved one. Within a warm, Jewish context, the group provides support and guidance for:

- loneliness
- feelings of loss and isolation
- coping with anger and other unexpected emotions
- coping with changing family dynamics
- living with your grief while moving forward with your life
- reestablishing connections with your community

Support Group

Pregnancy After Loss Support Group
If you are pregnant again after a loss, you may have unique emotional needs as you grieve your lost child(ren) while preparing for the birth of a new baby.

Our support group addresses in a safe, open environment, the concerns of bereaved parents who have started another pregnancy. Please join us to share information, feelings and support with other parents who are pregnant after miscarriage, stillbirth or infant death. Partners are especially encouraged to attend.

Date/Time: 3rd Wednesday of each month, 7 - 9 p.m. This group is offered at no charge and on a drop in basis.
Facilitator: Cherie Golant, LCSW, is the group facilitator.
